Shirley Mae Verrett

Shirley Mae Verrett, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, passed away on Saturday July 14, at the age of 68.
Visitation will be held from 6 PM until 9 PM on Wednesday, July 18 and from 8 AM until service time on Thursday, July 19 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
Shirley is survived by three sisters and two brothers, Vivan Brunet, Jane and husband, Douglas Guidry, Nancy Verrett, James Verrett, John and wife, Melissa Verrett; sister-in-law/best friend, Pricilla Billiot Lacoste; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her companion, Howard Billiot; parents, Manella Verrett and Antoine Verrett; brother Jerry “Manook” Verrett; sister Mary Ann Verrett.
