Shirley Lee Eschete, age 91, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. She was a native of New Orleans Louisiana, and a resident of Houma, Louisiana.
She is survived by her five children, Dianne Redmond (Steve), Edward J. Eschete Jr. and fiancée, Paula Steed, Lee M. Eschete (Barbara), Ronald J. Eschete (Tammy), and Karen Hatchik, eight grandchildren, Jeff Redmond, Jennifer Stringer, Melissa Eschete, E.J. Eschete III, Lee M. Eschete II, Jordan Eschete, Erin Hebert, Braden Eschete, nine great-grandchildren, Brooke Belanger, Kelsea and Corinne Stringer, Fischer, Camille and Olivia Redmond, Lee M. Eschete III, Charlotte and Everett Hebert.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Smokey" Eschete Sr. and parents, Harold and Veronica Lee.
Visitation be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
