Sharia D. Orgeron, 69, a native and resident of Gheens, died at 7:58 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Willis Orgeron; two sons, Scott Orgeron and wife, Shelley, and Brent Orgeron and wife, Ronda; daughter, Pam Hamby and husband, Michael; brother, Philip Dufrene; two sisters, Darlene Trosclair and Maxine Cressonie; and 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Alverda D. Dufrene.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
