Shara Jean Ann Schouest Ramsier

Shara Jean Ann Schouest Ramsier, age 72, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bourg. Shara was a former driver for the Terrebonne Parish Council on Aging. She attended the Terrebonne school system with a record of perfect attendance without ever missing a day of school and graduated from South Terrebonne High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Shara Jean is survived by her son, Terry Lee Nutter and wife, Melissa Pearl, daughter, Jacqueline Ann Nutter, brother, Numa Schouest, sisters, Patsy Hunter, Wanda LaJaunie, Melanie Davis, grandchildren, Brett, Lyndsay, Kristen, Justin, Abigail, Jarred, Casey, Nicole and Christopher, great-grandchildren, Layla, Karley, Terrance, Alia, Owen, Aiden and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Dean Ramsier, parents, Fortuna and Odette Rogers Schouest, son, Marty Thomas Nutter, brothers, Van Schouest, Gregory Schouest, sisters, Janice Dapsit, Brenda Bateman, Clarice LeBlanc, Faye Schouest, Geneva Marcel and Jody Schouest, grandson, Nicholas Lee Nutter and great-grandson, Julian Nicholas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery.
