Shane Anthony Hebert, age 48, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, on Saturday, June 9th 2018 from 9:00 am until service time. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the church starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Shane is survived by his wife, Dawn Beebe Hebert; children, Michaela Judith Hebert, Justin Cary Bourgeois, Nicholas John Hebert, Jordan Elizabeth Hebert, Rome Michael Hebert; mother, Peggy Theriot Chiasson and sister, Rachel Hebert Rousse.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bobby" Hebert; paternal grandparents, Clarence Hebert, Sr. and Emelda Allemand Hebert; maternal grandparents, Leonce "Ganou" Theriot and Gloria Bouvier Theriot; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Michael Beebe, Sr. and Lois Montaldo Beebe; uncle, Danny Theriot; cousin, Cai Joseph Crosby.
Shane was a devoted family man who also enjoyed spending his time writing. A true "Who-villian", Shane enjoyed Christmas and would count down the days until December 25th all year round. His idea of Heaven was "All of his children as toddlers at Christmas time".
In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
