Scottie James Orgeron Sr., 44, a native and resident of Larose, died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Arthur "Bud" Orgeron Jr. and Barbara Chouest Orgeron; one son, Scottie Orgeron Jr.; grandparents, Adonis and Thelma Chouest; one brother, Chad "Chad O" Orgeron and wife, Shona; one sister, Gwen Eymard and husband, Monty; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Orgeron Sr. and Enolia Orgeron; parran, Tony Chouest; and aunt, Dolores Price.
In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
