Sandra Dufrene Tastet

Sandra Dufrene Tastet, 71, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Tastet; children, Kelly Trosclair (A.J.), Kristie Westerman (Jesse), John Tastet (Hulonda) and Michelle Parker; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jenna, Lane, Emma, Samantha, Julia, Peyton, Drew and Destiney; great grandchildren, Jayden, Zoe’, Cullen, Levi, Hazel, Georgia and Lance; brother, Rodney Dufrene, Sr.; sisters, Patsy Madere and Deborah Lasseigne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaniess Dufrene Sr. and Julia Dufrene; son-in-law, Dennis Parker; brothers, Vaniess Dufrene, Jr. and Danny Dufrene and sister Cindy Delaune.
Sandra was a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling and going on cruises. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
