Sandra Ann Cortez Loupe

Sandra Ann Cortez Loupe, 60, a native of Des Allemands, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
She is survived by her siblings, Joanne Newchurch (Jerry); James “Jimmy” Cortez (Karon), John “Johnny” Cortez (Pam), Louise Sassin and Glenda Delcambre; sister-in-law Debbie Cortez, nieces and nephews and her fur baby, Ace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Justilien Cortez, Sr. and Gloria Folse Cortez and brother, Justilien Cortez, Jr.
Sandra was a member of the Busy Bees, enjoyed cooking and baking and was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was employed by Pellerin Milnor for 40 years. Sandra loved the Saints, and eating crawfish and crabs. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
