Ruth Guidry Lagarde, 76, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Larose, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Victory Life Church in Lockport, LA. Religious services will be at 10:30 AM Friday with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Larose, LA.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Lagarde (Melanie); daughter, Leslie Lagarde Plaisance (Dean); sisters, Nita Plaisance, Lolita Chouest; 6 grandchildren, Adam Plaisance (Maddi), Brandon Lagarde, Jordan Plaisance, Jared Lagarde (companion, Victoria), Maggie Ruth Plaisance, Samantha Lagarde and 2 great grandchildren, Carter Lagarde and Cohen Lagarde.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Lagarde, Sr.; son, Roland "Rocky" Lagarde, Jr.; parents, Samson Guidry, Sr. and Alexina Cheramie Guidry; brothers, Herman, Morrison, Robinson, Rogers, James, Samson Jr., Robert Guidry and sisters, Alzina "La Sur" Pitre and Doris Stewart.
