Ruth Tabor Fremin

Ruth Marie Tabor Fremin, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 8:55 p.m. She was a native of Metairie and a resident of Raceland, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Thursday, December 26, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at St. Mary’s Nativity Community Center in Raceland on Friday, December 27, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Joseph Fremin; sons, Jude Fremin and companion, Nikki, and Josh Fremin and wife, Mary “M.D.”; sister-in-law, Becky Tabor; grandchildren, Tyler, Thomas, Austin, Kye, and Asher Fremin.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Joseph Tabor, Sr. and Marie Babin Tabor; and brothers, Roland Jr. and Ronnie Tabor.

Ruth enjoyed baking for birthdays, holiday events, St. Joseph Altar, and St. Mary’s School, and also working with teachers at. St. Mary’s School. She was the grandmother of five grandsons, but always wished for a granddaughter.
