Russell J. Orgeron, 73, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Larose, LA.
He is survived by his former wife, Josie Creppel; daughters, Naomi Beaulieu (Allen) and Josette Simmons (James); grandchildren, Shanea (Taylor), Michael, Gareth, Haley and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Aiden and River; brothers, Arthur “Bud” Orgeron (Barbara), Clovis Orgeron (Fay), Alvin Orgeron, Richard Orgeron (Nellie); sisters, Peggy Drott (Reynold), Diane Adams (Raymond), Susan Orgeron and brother-in-law, Roger Theriot.
He was preceded by his parents, Arthur Orgeron Sr. and Enola Orgeron; brothers, Jerry Orgeron, Raymond Orgeron (Hazel); sisters, Rita Smith (Sherman), Gloria Theriot and Delores Orgeron.
Russell was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
