Russell "Man" Antoine Authement, Sr.

Russell “Man” Antoine Authement, Sr., 95, a native and resident of Chauvin passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Wednesday, February 10th from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Russell is survived by his wife of 70 years, Eulalie LeBlanc Authement; sons, Russell Authement, Jr. and Richard “Ricky” Authement (Lona); grandchildren, Gary Authement, Dr. Amy Authement, Jason Authement and Megan Authement; great-grandchildren, Hunter Authement, Everett Authement, Anne Marie Authement, Alice Authement and Edith Waguespack.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide Authement and Nita Lirette Authement; sister, Mae Authement Chauvin (Edwin).
Russell’s favorite past time were fishing and watching football.
