Russell Anthony Barrios, age 85, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He was a native of Westwego and resident of Thibodaux, LA.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Russell is survived by his wife of 17 years, Laura Landry Barrios; son, Russell “Rusty” Barrios, Jr.; daughter, Christine “Tina” Barrios Musacchia and husband, Mike; sister, Barbara B. Vedros; and 10 grandchildren.
Russell was preceded in death by his son, Joseph “Joey” Barrios; grandson, Robert Daunie, Jr.; parents, Wilday Antoine Barrios and Enola Josephine Griffin Barrios; and sister, Marlene B. Savoie.
Russell was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. He served in the US Marine Corps. He was a member of the Good Times Jamaica Dance Club and Marine Corps League. He enjoyed doing genealogy.
