Ruby Nell Ledet Lefort, 77, a native and resident of Larose passed away on March 26, 2017. A visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 10 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Ms. Ruby is survived by her children, Stephanie L. Callais husband Dwain, Shannon J. Lefort wife Dolly, and Shane M. Lefort wife Bonnie; grandchildren, Lela and Annie Callais, Kelsey and Kristen Lefort, Trevor, and Ada Lefort; great grandchild, Meah Callais; brothers Neil, Jack, and Allen Ledet; and sisters, Dorina Columbel, Lee Guidroz, Trudy Bourg, and Evelyn Tyler.
Ms. Lefort was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. "Rock" Lefort; son, Shae Lefort; parents, Emile A. Ledet and Ella Falgout Ledet; brother, Liberal, Edward, Maurie, and Glenn Ledet; and sisters, Earline Matherne and Joyce Ougel.
