Ruby Deroche Coriell, 90, a native of Bayou Gauche, and resident of Des Allemands, died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Keith Coriell and wife, Chaere, Bob Coriell and wife, Davlynn, James Coriell and wife, Margaret, Frances Weaver, Debrah Kelly and Maureen Matherne and husband, Brent; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Daniel Deroche, Mae Belle Hogan, Lois Forrest and Barbara Weinkauf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Coriell; parents, Joseph and Chloe Picou Deroche; siblings, Gerald Deroche, Gary Deroche, Garnet Simoneaux, Pearl Deroche and Espazie Quinn; and son-in-law, Tommy Kelly.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
