Roy A. Williams

Roy A. Williams, 91, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Grand Isle passed away on Monday, July 15th, 2024.

 Mr. Roy is survived by his son: Glenn A. Williams; daughter: Pamela Williams Guidry; grandchildren: Skylynn Williams, Wendy Williams Nunez (Santos), Kyle Williams, Chloé Guidry, and Cydney Guidry; great grandchildren: Kaden Valenzuela, Yazmin Nunez, Zoey Dantin, Oaklyn Bruce; daughter in law: Penny Charpentier Williams; and sister in law: Verda Anselmi Guidroz.

 Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife: Leoda Anselmi Williams; son: Kirk Williams; great grandchild: Blake Valenzuela; parents: Walter and Yvonne Danos Williams; sister: Rae Williams; son in law Terry “Gree” Guidry.

 Mr. Williams’s family would like to thank the staff of The Suites at Sugar Mill Point and Journey Hospice for their care and compassion.

 Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 10:00 am until service time. The United Veterans League will perform military honors at 11:00 with his Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
