Roy Alan Monaghan, 73 a native of Panama Canal and a resident of Raceland, La died Friday, December 22, 2017.
Visitation will be on Friday December 29, 2017 at St. Hilary Catholic Church from 9:00am until funeral time. A Military service will take place at 10:00am. A mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.
Roy is survived by his wife; Barbara Roger Monaghan, son; Ryan A. Monaghan (Ciji), daughters; Veronica Benoit (Billy), and Lisa Wilcox (JoeRay), 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Lillian Lumsden Monaghan, and 2 brothers.
Roy was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a retired Boat Captain & Mechanic.
