Roy J. Landry, 88, a native of Plattenville and a resident of Paradis, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday with burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Napoleonville, LA.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Landry, Sr. and Anaise Boudreaux Landry; brothers, Albert Landry, Jr., Claude Landry, Numa Landry and sister, Cecile Simoneaux.
Roy retired from Monsanto Chemical Co. after 32 years of service. He devoted his life to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
