Roy Paul Duet, 75, a native and resident of Galliano, died at 9:42 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle LeBlanc Duet; mother-in-law, Pearl LeBlanc; three daughters, Sherrie Adams and husband, Don "Noochie", Lynette Guidroz and husband, Joey, and Denise Duet; one brother, Curtis Duet Sr.; one sister, Ethel Duet Guidry; and six grandchildren, Brad Adams and wife, Brittany, Brent Adams, Janey Guidroz, Paul Guidroz, Caden Duet and Camden Duet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson "Chal" Duet and Louisa Duet; and father-in-law, Clarence "Black" LeBlanc.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are preferred.
