Roy "Big Roy" J. Collins, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017, age 47.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, from 11:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the church starting at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Roy is survived by his fiancée, Jocelyn Davis; mother, Laura R. Collins; sisters, Marty Collins and Amber Collins Tracy (Steven); step-daughter, Elora Gayton; uncle, Todd Collins; paternal grandmother, Clara Belle Collins; godmother, Isabelle Pitre; 4 nephews and 1 niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Barry Collins; sister, Stacy L. Collins; paternal grandfather, Louman Collins and maternal grandparents, Roy and Marilyn Reynolds.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
