Roy Anthony Bergeron, Sr., 63, a native of Lockport and a resident of Thibodaux, earned his wings on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at 3:29 p.m. at his residence.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport Saturday. Visitation from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, and from 8 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport.
Beloved husband of Delma Lirette Bergeron for 42 years. Father of Roy Bergeron, Jr. and wife April, Keith Bergeron and wife Melissa, Thoms Bergeron and companion Danielle Trahan, Angela Orgeron and husband Ricky, Christine Constant and husband Danny, Frances Curole and husband Jesse and Tessa Bergeron and companion Shane Chelette.
Grandfather of Hales, Nathan, Heather, Ricky Jr., Kourtnie, Trent, Tyler, Chloe, Ryan, Jace, Lana, Aubrey and Conner. Great-grandfather of Aiden and Kailey.
Son of the late Justilien Bergeron, Sr. and Leota Rivet Bergeron. Brother of Kirby Bergeron, Sr. and wife Anna, Elsie Green and husband Wilfred and the late Justilien "Joe" Bergeron, Jr. and Infant girl Bergeron.
He loved camping, and his party barge but most of all spending time with family and friends.
He will be reunited with his favorite uncle, Raymond Rivet and his dog Goldie.
