Rowena Jeandron Claudet

Rowena Jeandron Claudet, 94, a native of Lockport and a resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Thibodaux, LA with private burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
She is survived by her daughters, Alice Phyllis Claudet Matherne and Collette “Cootz” Claudet Foret (Clarance “Tank”); grandchildren, Alycee Matherne Naquin (Lance), Ana Matherne Nanney (Kevin) and Adele Foret Steib (Guy) and great grandchildren, Grace Naquin, Claire Naquin, Knox Nanney and Jude Nanney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Philip Claudet, Sr.; sons, Arnold Philip Claudet, Jr. and Andrew Paul Claudet and sisters, Rose Mary Jeandron, Olive Jeandron Blouin, Audrey Jeandron Hebert and Geraldine Jeandron Wurner.
Rowena taught school for 37 years. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph Elementary School. She also loved music and playing cards.
