Rosita Marie "Ta Ta" Plaisance, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, died on Wed. June 20, 2012.
Visitation will be held from 10 am. to funeral time, 12 pm., on Mon. June 25, 2012 at Sacred Heart. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Burris and wife Laura, and Jason Burris and wife Jana, grandchildren, Kalob Burris, Jared Diaz, Breagen Burris, Brandon Burris, Hunter Burris, and Ethan Morris, step-grand child, Chance Brunet, brother, Wiley Cheramie, sisters, Edith Hebert, Lena Terrebonne, and Eula Breaud, and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Anthony "Bobby" Plaisance, parents, Clovis Cheramie and Rita Daigle Cheramie, brother, Unice Cheramie, sisters, Lois Cheramie, Beatrice Matherne, and Lou Cheramie.
She enjoyed dancing and spending time with family and friends and talking on the phone.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
