Rose Gaspard

Rose N. Gaspard, 84, a native of Jean Charles Island and resident of Galliano passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Nov. 10, 2016. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor on Tuesday Nov. 15 from 9 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am with burial following at Cheramie Cemetery

Mrs. Rose is survived by her children Patterson "Pooch" Gaspard Jr and wife Connie and Chris Gaspard and wife Evette, grandchidren Nikki Cheramie (Dustin), Natalie Bouziga (Lee), Jacob Gaspard, Kristie Callais (Corey), Greg Gaspard (Annie), and Robby Gaspard (Kesti), great grandchildren Devin, Nadiya, Sophia, Jean-Eric, Cy, Dane, Dusti Jo, Alexis, Alaina, Owen, Matthew, and Logan, brothers Jesty, Frank, Harry, and Russell Naquin.

Mrs. Gaspard was preceded in death by her husband Patterson Gaspard Sr., parents Nelson and Colastique Naquin, daughter Gwenda Gaspard Rachal, great grandchild Michael Gaspard, brother Wilbert Naquin, and sisters Phyllis Williams and Semonia Lefleur.

Mrs. Rose was always smiling and laughing, loved to fish, cooking for the family, family get together's and spoiling her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will never forget her infectious smile.
