Rose Matherne Frickey

Rose Marie Frickey, 74, of Gore Springs, MS, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her residence. She was born July 22, 1948 in New Orleans, LA to Ardon and Rita Marie Schaubhut Matherne. She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Grenada.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be at 12:00 pm.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ronald Frickey; one daughter, Mika Frickey-Mustacchia (Nicholas) of St. Rose, LA; two sons, Boyd Frickey (Jenny) of Paradis, LA and Ryk Anthony Frickey of Des Allemands, LA; six grandchildren, Jada, Joab, Ali Nicole, Samantha, Ryan, Cohen and Ashton and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Thad David Frickey.
