Rose A. Doucet, 99, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Sadie Lorraine, June Cheramie (Clint); daughter-in-law, Sheila Savoie; grandchildren, Donald Lorraine (Laura), Rhonda Lorraine, Ramona L. Galiano (Grady), Keith Savoie (Rhonda), Lacy Detillier (Coley), Kristy Lee (Blake), Jamie Cheramie (Brandy), Natasha Angelette (Paul), Kim Guidry Cheramie; 28 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Lucille Duet Adams; son, Michael P. Savoie; grandchild, Tosawi Cheramie; brothers, Joseph Tillman Adams, David Adams and Raymond Adams and sons-in-law, Ronald Lorraine and Russell Cheramie.
