Rose Mae Walker Breaux, 85, a native and resident of Larose, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time today at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, with a Rosary said at 10 a.m. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. Celebrant will be her nephew Rev. Dean Danos.
She is survived by her brother, Jerry Walker; sisters, Gloria Walker and Bertha Walker Allemand; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Irvin Breaux; parents, Alcide Walker Sr. and Evelyn Orgeron Walker; brothers, Stanley and Alcide Walker Jr.; and sisters, Clara Bell Walker Danos and Marjorie Walker Rogers.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was retired from the Lafourche Telephone Company.
Pall bearers will be Jarad Walker, Bobby Walker, Robbie Lee, R.J. Lee, Michael Rogers and Tate Danos.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
