Rosa "Ma Rosa" Savoie

Rosa “Ma Rosa” Serigny Savoie, 94, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan Alleman (Ronny), Sharlene Adams (Scott), Rosanne Ledet (Stony) and Sidney Savoie; half-brother, Gregory Serigny; grandchildren, Tzena Melancon (Chad), Ryan Alleman (Colette), Jamie Alleman, Clay Alleman (Yvonne), Billy Robichaux (Joe), Leith Adams (Tricia), Erin Danos (John), Jace Ledet (Jennifer), Eaan Bruce (Chris) Melissa Bruce and Cassie Bruce; great grandchildren, Jessi, Justin, Brayeah, Owan, Tabbie, Kylar, Cooper, Maggie Jo, Scott, Emily, Isabelle, Luke, Anna, Reid, Janna, Dezmond, Logan, Kendall and Aiden and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney J. Savoie; parents, Joseph and Maggie Gisclair Serigny; great grandson, Peyton Jude LeCoq; brothers, Abraham Smith, Howard Serigny and Joseph Serigny; sisters, Lorita Picciola, Godlyn Serigny, Romanda Pitre, Peggy Doucet and Catherine Guidry.
Rosa was a self-taught seamstress. She enjoyed singing, fishing and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
