Ronald "Black" Sevin, 77, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle LeBlanc and husband, Dane; one stepson, Wayne LeBlanc; two stepdaughters, Barbara Bonvillian and Gail Cantrelle; two brothers, Rickey J. Sevin and Sandy P. "Pop" Sevin; two sisters, Rosalind "Linney" Davis and Lona Usie; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louverta Sevin; his parents, Earl and Aline A. Sevin; one stepson, Keith LeBlanc; two stepdaughters, Charlene Savoie and Wanda LeBlanc; four brothers, Rudy J., Freddie, Frances and Randy "Brud" Sevin; and one sister, Lois Sevin Fonseca.
He was the owner of Blackie's Seafood Restaurant.
