Ron Joseph Dufrene, 44, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche passed away Friday October 7, 2016.
A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation began at 9:00 a.m. Burial immediately followed in St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery.
Ron was survived by his wife of 21 years, Jeanie Schaubhut Dufrene; parents, Grace and Ronald Dufrene; son, Hunter James Dufrene; Mackenzie Grace Dufrene; and his sister, Joy Dufrene Howard.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grace and Joseph Cancienne and Alverta and Joseph Dufrene.
Ron was an employee at Oxy Chem. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him
