Roland Joseph Sevin, 93, passed away on Sunday, October 15th , 2023. He was a native of Westwego, Louisiana and a resident of Larose, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20th at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 11:00 am until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 1:00 pm, with graveside services to follow.
Roland is survived by his wife of 72 years, Arnic Chiasson Sevin; daughters, Sharon S. Pierce (Rodney) and Myra S. Molaison (Perry); grandchildren, Chera Kee Trosclair (Vhores), Skeat Rousse (Dwana), Troy Rousse (Jani), Opal Felarise, Charla Chouest (Eric), and Talia Randazo (Keith); great-grandchildren, Cole Trosclair, Trey Rousse, Brandt Rousse, Myles Rousse, Aspyn Hoover (Ian), Londyn Rousse, Justin Felarise, Riley Pitre, Emma Chouest, and Layne Chouest; one great-great- grandchild, Wesley Rousse as well as 3 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great- grandchildren, and 4 step-great-great grandchildren.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Fostine Bertrand Sevin; siblings, Mildred Hebert, Lena Mae Bonvillian, Nolan Sevin and Edith Chiasson.
Roland enjoyed relaxing on his swing under the oak tree and visiting casinos, but above all, he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.
