Roland Paul Plaisance

Roland P. Plaisance, 75, a native of Westwego and a resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Schaubhut; daughter, Paula Plaisance Grabert (Jason); sons, Johnnie Delatte (Kris) and Paul Duhe (Kindy); grandchildren, Karli, Kyle, Trent, Cade, Peyton, Perrin, Kaelin, Isabella, Autumn, Tanner, Bryant, Johnnie III and Victoria; great grandchildren, Addison and Kinslee; sisters, Betty Joyce Autin, Beverly Clarke; Pamela Delaune and mother-in-law, Rita Schaubhut. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Delatte; parents, John and Ouida Plaisance; sister, Elaine Waters and father-in-law, Jimmy Schaubhut.
Roland absolutely loved the LSU Tigers. He enjoyed shooting pool, trawling and crabbing.
