Roland P. Knobloch, Jr., 81, a native and resident of the St. Charles Community passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
Visitation will be held at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Saturday July 31st from 9:00am until funeral time. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosalie Chauvin Knobloch; children, Lori Knobloch (Cindy), Michael Knobloch (Bonnie), Timothy Knobloch (Margaret); grandchildren, Claiborne and Ella Grace Knobloch; siblings, Anne K. Dufrene (Russell) and Benton Knobloch, Sr. (Yvonne) and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland P. Knobloch, Sr. and Gladys Landry Knobloch.
Roland was a 1957 graduate of Raceland High School and a 1996 graduate of Nicholls State University. He was a Veteran of the US Army; a member of American Legion Post 349 of which he was Post Commander for 6 years; a member of 40 & 8 Voiture 1038 and KC Council #10260.
Roland enjoyed working in the yard, being active in the organizations he belonged to and traveling. His best times were when he was with his family and was affectionately known as “Paw Bee” by his grandchildren. He never met a stranger
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Mary Nativity School in Raceland or ED White Catholic High School in Thibodaux.
