Rochelle "RW" William Davis, 81, a native of Canton, Miss. and resident of Houma, died at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today in the chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lee Kinnard Davis; two sons, Billy and wife, Stella Davis, and John and wife, Denise Davis; five daughters, Edith and husband, Paul Lirette, Dianne and husband, McKinley Brossette, Wanda and husband, Glenn Clements, Pearl Davis, and Annette and husband, Pat Scott; one brother, Ollie Davis; one sister, Dimple Watson; and 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Pearl Joles Davis; four brothers, Charles, Arthur, John Jr., and Alfred Davis; four sisters, Gladys Futrell, Agnes Price, Selma Holder and Opal Davis.
He was in the U.S. Army during Korean War.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children's Advocacy Center are preferred.
