Robert J. Griffin, 67, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Visitation will be from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Miranda Anselmi Griffin; daughters, Natalie Curole (Blaine) and Kelyn Griffin; grandchildren, Beaux, Logan and Jonah Curole; brothers, Donald, Perry, Victor and Anthony “Tony” Griffin and sisters, Diana Lasseigne, Patricia “Pat” LeCompte and Robin Lefort.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Emily Griffin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Irvin and Nolia Anselmi; brothers, Daniel, Dennis, John and Cary Griffin.
Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid Saints and LSU fan. The only thing he loved more than his sports was his family. He was his daughters, grandsons and son-in-law’s biggest fan. He was blessed to spend the last 43 years with the woman he loved dearly, his beautiful wife.
