Rivern “Jane” Murphy Meyers, age 85, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 7:15 p.m. She was a native of Crowley and resident of Houma, LA

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Thursday, February 9, 2023, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 10, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.

Jane is survived by her son, Glenn J. Hoffpauir and wife, Mary-Alice; daughters, Connie H. Rodrigue, and Roxanne H. Lirette; brother, Ronnie Murphy and wife, Melba; sisters, Faye M. Driskel, Joann M. Lee, and Brenda M. Miller and husband, Louis; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 22 years, Carl John Hoffpauir, and 2nd husband of 38 years, Hypolite Adam Meyers; parents, Edward Sr. and Ella Hanks Murphy; daughter, Gloria H. Guidry; brother, Edward Murphy Jr. and wife, Dorothy; sister, Katherine M. Martin and husband, Bill; and grandchildren, Rachel Buquet and Jeremy Walker.
