Rita Foret Grabert

Rita Foret Grabert, 98, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her son, Jay Grabert; daughter, Elizabeth Grabert Pemberton; grandchildren, Amber Hebert (Jason) and Melody Cheramie; great grandchildren, Madison and Sadie Hebert, Aria and Landon Cheramie; brothers, Leroy Foret, Ernest Foret and sister, Eloise Babin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Grabert, Sr.; parents, Joseph and Maria Foret; brothers, Fergus Paul Foret, Wilfred Foret, Sr., Joseph Foret, Jr. and sister, Velma Foret.
Rita worked at the Raceland Frostop for many years.
