Rita Mae Hogan Dufrene, 73, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Life Fellowship Church, Bayou Gauche, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Dufrene; son, Thor Dufrene and daughter, Destiny (Ron Jr.) Landry; grandchildren, Laney Jane Borne and Rylie Patricia Landry and sister, Deloras Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Landry and Clothilde Hogan and brother, Morgan Hogan.
Rita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
