Rita Mary Donnaud, 89, a native of Boutte, LA, resident of Thibodaux, LA and former resident of Luling, LA, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her brothers, John and Paul Donnaud.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Joseph L. Donnaud, Sr. and Louise Thibodaux Donnaud; brothers, Prosper, Lawrence "Jack", Allen, Joseph Jr., Albert "BB" Donnaud; sisters, Lillian Poche, Ruby Smith, Annie Lee Bourgeois, Eula Templet and Mary Brown.
She was a volunteer at St. Anthony Catholic Church for 30 years, whereupon she received the St. Louis Medal. Special thanks to St. Catherine Hospice for their care.
