Rita Hebert Autin, 95, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Nativity Little Church, on Tuesday, May 30th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Rita is survived by her children, Whitney J. Autin, Jr. (Nancy Washer) and Cynthia A. Eliser (Gary); grandchildren, Kay Marie Gros (Matthew) and Amy Geralyn Danigole (Michael); great-grandchildren, Bryce Gros, Mattie Gros and Lyla Danigole.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney J. Autin, Sr.; parents, Louis J. Hebert and Bulah Toups Hebert; brothers, Albert, Clifton and Nolan Hebert and sister, Lillian H. Folse.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Broadway Nursing and Rehab for their care and compassion.
