Riley John Bourgeois, 23 months, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 pm.
He is survived by his parents, Darby John Bourgeois and Nicole Orgeron Bourgeois; brothers, Jake James Bourgeois, Cam Joseph Bourgeois; grandparents, Corinne Wunstell Bourgeois, James A. Orgeron Jr. and Lucy Guidroz Orgeron; godparents, Necee Orgeron Matranga and Brock Jon Wunstell; aunts and uncles, Daffy Bourgeois Duet (Ben), Nica Orgeron Paolillo (Michael), Necee Orgeron Matranga (Jeb), Cullen Orgeron (LeAnna) and cousins, Ashton, Arden, Maylee, Corin and Ander.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jake J. Bourgeois.
Riley's love for life was immeasurable. He never met a stranger and was everybody's friend. His smile was infectious and he touched everyone's heart he met. He mostly enjoyed being outside, playing sports, dancing, being with his family, neighborhood friends, dove milk chocolate, vitamins, cutting grass with his dad, ice and Gatorade. Riley John you will forever be missed and never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made at Capital One Bank in honor of Riley John Bourgeois Memorial Fund.
