Rickey James Solar

Rickey James Solar, 62 a native of Morgan City, La. and resident of Leakesville, Miss. Passed away on April 3, 2022. Visitation will be Monday April, 11, 2022, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La. from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La. from 8:00am until 10:15am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery. Rickey is survived by his brothers; Harold Solar, Cyrus Solar, Jr., Chad Solar, Charles Bostick, and Kenneth Bostick, sister; Marliss “Ann” Lena, nephews; Blue, Quentin, Dudley, Shannon, Ronald, Lee, Cyrus, Jerome, Tanner, Cyrus, nieces; Cagney, Michelle, Natricia, Tabatha and Loula. Rickey was preceded in death by his wife; Kim Henry Solar, parents; Cyrus, Sr. and Marliss Rita Lombas Solar, sisters; Dianna Solar Gisclair and Norma “Lynn” Summers. Rickey was a boat captain employed by Smith Marine. Rickey was an avid Cattle Farmer.
