Richard P. Sagona Sr., 71, a native and lifelong resident of Houma, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014.Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Bergeron Sagona; sons, Richard "Ricky" Sagona Jr. and wife, Karen Brown Sagona, Randy Sagona Sr. and companion, Angie Gonzales, and Robbie Sagona and wife, Bonita Neff Sagona; grandchildren, Richard III, Randy Jr., Ashley, Courtney, Taylor, Kaleigh, Kealey and Camryn; great-grandchildren, Cullen, Sophia, Kiah and Braelyn; and sister, Louise (Dane) Sagona Ledet.He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Louise Ciccio Sagona; sisters, Rita Lange, Katherine Reeves, Betty Vail and Anna Mae McElroy; and brothers, Anthony and Frank Sagona Jr.Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather who love his "treasures."
