Richard Joseph Owen, 85, a native of Larose and a resident of Bayou Blue, died Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Private services were held April 20, with interment at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Golden Meadow.
He is survived by his wife, Bea Burch Owen; one son, Richard Joseph Owen; two daughters, LauraLee Owen Caballero and Kerry Elizabeth Owen; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard D. Owen and Melvina White Owen; one daughter, Shelly Margaret Owen; one brother, Donald Joseph Owen Sr.; and two sisters, Shirley Owen Eserman and Mona Owen Parker.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
