Richard Joseph Keller, Col. Retired Inf., 95, a native and resident of Hahnville, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 3:00 AM in Luling, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, December 23, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Champagne Tassin Keller; sons William C. Keller and wife Linda, Richard A. Keller and wife Judith; daughters, Mary Beth Keller Clulee and husband Neal, Thirza Jane Laiche; sister, Dorothy "Sis" Lirette; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beth Campbell Keller; parents, Theodore and Amanda Keller; brother, Theodore Keller and sister Elvire Gravois.
The Keller family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of St. Charles Parish Hospital for their effort to provide care and comfort to our father.
Family and friends are invited to attend a reception after the burial at St. Anthony Community Center on Angus Dr. in Luling, LA.
