Richard Lee Johnson

Richard Lee Johnson, 75, a native of Norton, VA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA since 1968, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa P. Johnson; son, Robert Hopkins (Stacey); daughter, Amy Thibodeaux (Kris Hardwick); grandchildren, Heather Nicole Hopkins, Ava Brooke Thibodeaux, Owen Charles Thibodeaux and Mackenzie Nicole Hardwick; nieces, Amanda Champagne and Blair Champagne; nephews, Andrew Lester and Bobby Lester, Jr. and many great nieces and great nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brooke Anne Matlock; parents, Andrew Johnson, Jr. and Evelyn P. Johnson; and brothers, Bobby Lester and Andrew C. Johnson, III.
Richard enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warrior Project are preferred.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
