Richard J. Hebert

Richard J. Hebert, 84, a native and resident of Lockport passed away on Thursday, January 30th, 2025.

Mr. Richard is survived by his sons: Todd Hebert (Lisa), Troy Hebert (Sara), Terry Hebert (Michelle); grandchildren: Chad (Jessica), Andy (Sarah), Rachelle (Morgan), Masy (Joe), Tory (Janie), Kayla (Jake), Seth (MK); 10 great grandchildren with one on the way; sisters: Betty Thibodaux, Carol Matherne; and brother: Gary Hebert.

 Mr. Hebert was preceded in death by his wife: Dolores Hebert; parents: Harris and Annie Hebert; and brother: Donald Hebert.

 Mr. Richard enjoyed dancing and cooking. He was a committed pillar of his community and dedicated member of the Lockport Fire Department, serving as Chief for many years. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

 Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 at from 9:00 am until service time. His Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to burial in Holy Savior Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Mr. Richard's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
