Richard Lane Foster, 75, a native of Taft and a resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery.
Loving father of Angela Brien (Wayne), Denise Matherne (Audie), Amie Knuppel (Don), Renee’ Ricks (Keith); grandfather of Stacey Noel, Heather Brien, Amber, Amanda and Autumn Matherne, Don “D.J.”, Ricky and Taylor Knuppel, Samantha Horn, Michael Decuers, Brian and Sean Ricks; great grandfather of Kye and Kynleigh Knuppel; brother of Stanley Foster and Ernest Cortez III.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adeline Granier Foster; father, Stanley Foster; mother, Beulah Cortez and step father, Ernest Cortez, Jr. and brother, Lane Foster.
