Rhonda Mcbroom Lombas

Rhonda Faye Lombas, 61 a native of Raceland, La. and resident of Thibodaux, La. passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2021, at Falgout Funeral Homes in Raceland, La. from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
Rhonda is survived by her children; Cody (Brittany) Lombas, Brandi (Almonzo) Thibodaux, Abbey Faye Lombas, and Claire Lombas, Catina (Paul) Falgout, grandchildren; Trey, Faith, Ian, Riley, Isabelle, Emmitt, Blake and Nick, mother; Faye Elder McBroom, sisters; Ann Ledet and Christine Carrier, her children’s father; Patterson Lombas.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her father; William McBroom, sister; Debbie McBroom.
Rhonda was a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and a member of the Louisiana Nurse Practitioners.
Rhonda had a strong relationship with God. Her love of God’s Word anchored her through all the stormy events life brought her way. Life may be a vapor, as her beloved scripture says, but Rhonda’s life was a vapor scented with commitment and caring. Her work as a nurse practitioner was the perfect outlet for the passion she carried caring for others. A skilled crafter and artist, Rhonda created art with the same passion she used to practice medicine, forever keeping in the forefront that God is the giver of all life, whether on a canvas or in a living being. Her inquisitive mind had her longing to travel the world exploring new places and meeting new people. Her dreams live on in those blessed to know her and receive the love she freely gave.
