Reggie Paul Melancon

Reggie Paul Melancon, 61, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose passed away on Monday, June 24th, 2024.

Mr. Reggie is survived by children Maggie (Jamie) Orgeron and Reggie James Melancon; grandchildren: Melody Johnston & Mila Orgeron; siblings: John (Rosalind) Melancon, Jr., Mike (Annie) Melancon, and Josie (Danielle) Melancon.

Mr. Melancon was preceded in death by his father: John Melancon, Sr., mother: Audrey T. Melancon, grandparents: Theogene Melancon, Maragarite Melancon, Norbert Thibodaux, Frances Thibodaux Bourgeois, and Leo Bourgeois.

His favorite song was “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. He loved his children and grandchildren. He found his strength through his faith in the Lord.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, June 9th, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 9:30 am until service time. His Memorial Mass will begin at 11:30 with procession following to his burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
